We have a lot of experience running support group meetings for herpes.
I can assure you that we are a friendly, down to earth group of people who try to make the experience as beneficial and welcoming as possible. We do not talk about health or support issues out in public (please keep those topics here in the message board), nor do we identify the nature of the group in any way. Coming to a social event is just like going out with any other extended group of friends, except here we all share a similar history. We rely on ordinary members LIKE YOU to volunteer to organize events, such as Hikes, Dinners, Brunches, Happy Hours, Speed-Dating, Camping, Picnics, BBQ’s, Holiday Parties, Ski Trips, Bike Rides, Dancing, Ball Games, Surfing, Movies, Bowling, Billiards, Wine-Tasting, Museum trips, Concerts, Comedy or Theatre trips, and YOU NAME IT! Since herpes does not discriminate and neither do we, we are a very diverse group of people of all ages.Published and manuscript church records can be found at public, university, and private libraries. For a brief general history of denominations and a guide to finding various New York denomination's records, see New York Church Records Wiki page.
Each group is different so please visit their website for more details.
